I picked up my new Tesla Model Y Performance two days and I’ve already modified it with a new dash trim. When you order a Model Y with a black interior, the dash comes with a wood grain trim. The use of wood has always troubled me because I don’t feel it goes with the looks of the car.
In this video, I will show you how easy it is to replace the wood dash on the Tesla Model Y Performance with a carbon fiber dash cover. The entire process shouldn’t take more than ten minutes to complete and the finished product really gives the Model Y a high tech look.
